Volunteer Commitment
Every third Sunday of the month, from 9 am - 2 pm, we’re volunteering with North Minneapolis Pet Resource Center providing free nail trims to our local community at their monthly reduced cost veterinary clinics. Afterwards, from 3 pm - 5:30 pm, we’re at Urban Tails Pet Supply for a 50% off cat only nail trim clinic.
Upcoming: In partnership with MyPitbullisFamily (a local, registered 501(c)(3) dedicated to accessible pet ownership), we are currently designing a lecture series on various grooming topics. Our first class will be on March 11th! Details below.

Events
At the 2025 Twin Cities Pride Festival, we showed up as allies and offered nail trims/grinds/polish, pet safe airbrushing, gems and feathers. We also were able to help our neighbors, The Upper Midwest Great Dane Rescue, advertise their adoptable dogs (pictured above).
We also participated in Twin Cities Pride’s Trunk-or-Treat event in Loring Park on October 26th, 2025 from 11 am - 2 pm, handing out goodie bags for both two and four legged kids, as well fun games and prizes!

Continuing Education
We attended the 2025 All American Groom Show in Schaumburg, IL to further our education and earn certifications in Pet First Aid & CPR, Feline Safe Handling, Geriatric Grooming, and Asian Fusion (a creative grooming course), alongside industry leaders and educators.
In Progress: AKC’s Safe Handling in the Salon course to earn AKC S.A.F.E. Certified Salon accreditation!

Join us as we celebrate the Saint Paul Winter Carnival at Doggie Depot on Sunday, February 1st from 10 am - 3 pm at Union Depot in Saint Paul. Dogs welcome!
March 11th
Come learn Grooming Basics at our FREE seminar class from 6-7 pm on Wednesday night at North Minneapolis Pet Resource Center. We’ll cover everything you need to know to begin simple upkeep for your pup at home including a printed product list for tools, a hands-on nail trimming practicum, an overview of coat types and techniques specific to your dog’s needs, some simple training, handling, and desensitizing approaches to practice at home, and a dog anatomy print-out so you can start studying your dog’s structure and range of motion. We’ll even have live dogs to demo proper brushing and handling techniques!
May 2nd
